Greetings!
I am the Starstruck Farmgirl. I am primarily a novelist and run an independent publishing label that is just getting started with only one client (that would be me). When I'm not writing, I like to do many domestic things. Cooking is one of my passions. I cook primarily for my family but I am also exploring the world of cake decorating on my own. I can't afford classes right now so I practice in my home kitchen with the help of videos, friendly advice, and good old trial and error. If you can't have fun with your food, what is the point?
Instead of deluging my personal media sites with pictures of my food, I thought I'd make another challenge of it and create a blog to share my experiences outside the office and inside an everyday kitchen. My goal is to share my experiences in a way that will possibly make my readers want to try it in their homes. I am also a huge fan of Pinterest which is where many of my recipes come from. When I try something from Pinterest--good or bad--I will share it on this page as well. Occasionally, I may stray from the kitchen and share some of my craft projects as well. I am also a knitter and sometime seamstress.
I am excited to share my recipes and cooking journey with you soon. I can't promise daily posts but I will share my journey with you when I can.
